John Lamont is the MP for Berwickshire, Roxburgh & Selkirk, following his successful election into this seat in the General Election in December 2019. John successfully held this seat in 2019 with a majority of over 5000 votes.
Former MP for Dumfriesshire, Clydesdale & Tweeddale and PPC for this seat in the General Election to be held on 12th December 2019 A former BT executive and MSP, David Mundell scored the Conservatives’ only success on Scotland in May 2005 when he won the newly created seat of Dumfriesshire, Clydesdale and Tweeddale with a notional eight per cent swing from Labour. David remained the only Conservative MP to be elected from Scotland in 2010 increasing his majority by over 2000 votes.
