Hawick and Denholm by-election

The by-election for the Hawick and Denholm ward of Scottish Borders Council was held on 22 May 2014

After fighting a long, hard campaign, Trevor Adams, our candidate, finished second to Watson McAteer, one of the Independent candidates.

Trevor and the Association would like to thank all of you who worked so hard on his behalf and who gave up so much of your time to support his campaign. Unfortunately, our campaign was not ultimately successful but we did manage to substantially increase the Conservative share of the vote.
