Scottish Borders MP, John Lamont, said: “Labour’s tax-raising budget will be disastrous for workers, farmers, pensioners and small businesses in our local communities.
“It’s a blow to people right across the Borders.
“Just like the SNP, Labour will hike taxes on hard workers, take away money from businesses and damage our economy.
“This is not the change that was promised, it’s the same old Labour Party.”
